Sourcing and supply chain
Beverage sourcing, procurement, and supply chain management
Cans, ends, trays, sleeves, and ingredients bought through our supplier relationships or received from yours. Every item comes in against a purchase order, is tracked by lot, and is visible in the client portal.
What we source
Everything the run needs, or only the parts you hand off
You choose the split. Some clients hand us the whole bill of materials. Others keep their can contract and have us buy the rest.
Cans and ends
Sleek and standard aluminum cans with matching ends, ordered against your run.
Decoration
Shrink sleeves for smaller runs and artwork changes; printed cans at volume.
Secondary packaging
Trays, packs, and pallet materials to your pack-out spec.
Ingredients and flavors
Bought from the bill of materials written during formulation.
Functional actives
Sourced to the spec, with documentation kept with the lot.
Or bring your own
Client-supplied materials, handled the same way
If you already have cans, ends, or ingredients, ship them. They are received against a purchase order, logged by lot, and consumed against your run exactly like materials we buy. You see the same records in the portal either way.
Supply chain management
The work between the quote and the pallet
Sourcing gets materials bought. Supply chain management keeps them moving, in step with the production schedule, so the brand is not chasing suppliers between runs.

Frequently asked
What does a beverage co-packer source for you?+
At Upstate Beverage Consultants: cans, ends, trays, shrink sleeves, printed cans, ingredients, flavors, and functional actives. You choose which items we buy and which you supply. Everything arrives against a purchase order and is tracked by lot from receiving to the finished pallet.
Should I supply my own cans and ingredients or have the co-packer buy them?+
It depends on your supplier relationships and how much you want to manage. Brands with existing contracts often supply their own. Brands without them usually have us source through our relationships so one team owns lead times and receiving. Many clients split the list.
What is supply chain management in beverage co-packing?+
It is the work between the quote and the finished pallet: planning materials against the production schedule, placing and tracking purchase orders, receiving and lot-tracking what arrives, and coordinating finished goods for pickup. Upstate Beverage Consultants manages this so the brand is not chasing suppliers between runs.
Can I see my materials and inventory during a project?+
Yes. Received materials, lots, and run status are visible in the client portal. You know what is on hand before a run and what each run consumed after it.
